  1. Cliff Bergere was a personal friend of my father. They met while in the Airforce back in 1958 while serving at Laon France. He was an a veteran of 16 1/2 years in the service. He was a was a Major until 1956 and was Chief of Maintenance at Grenada AFB and Chief of Liquid-cooled Engines that included Allison and Packard engines. He retired as a Major when he was 60 years old. I got to meet him in the 70’s while he and his wife were living in Indianapolis. I have a letter where in invited my father to stay in his extra bedroom when Cliff and his wife lived in Hollywood Florida. He had a very interesting background.
