Bill McGuire at Mac’s Motor City Garage has been keeping close tabs on the situation at the Packard plant in Detroit and has shown the video above made by Harry Arnold of Drone Detroit/ITV with his amazing remote control helicopter cam. We last reported on it it eleven months ago and since that time not much has happened other than an auction last week to sell the plant and grounds. This auction result is still up in the air but you can learn much more about it at The Detroit Free Press. You should also view Special report: The Packard Plant: Why it has to go, and see another interesting video about the situation at the plant here. Visit with Bill at Mac’s to see his excellent coverage.
We wanted to bring our readers up to date on the developments and show you some of the new videos and photos we have found, even though all of this coverage is quite sad to view. You can view many more of Marchand and Romain’s photos as seen below at the Denver Post.
