The Schloss Dyck Classic Days in Juchen, Germany, a well-established and high-caliber concours recognized by the FIVA organization, was held last weekend at the historic site. Nothing enhances a display of fine cars better than showing them in a beautiful setting and these images by Pavel Novitski point this out quite clearly. In addition to the display, a 2-mile closed-course is set up where a variety of important vintage racing cars from the past can put on demonstration runs for spectators.
Schloss Dyck’s history dates back to 1094 and remained in the same family until 1999 when it became the Center for Garden Art and Landscape Design. Located approximately thirty miles southwest of Dusseldorf, it’s regarded as one of the most important cultural establishments on the Lower Rhine. The castle complex was built on four islands in the 17th century and lies at the heart of a spacious park of nearly 173 acres. It provides a superb backdrop for these elegant machines.
