No Motor on The Old Motor – Soapbox racers at Goodwood

  • goodwood festival of speed

Here is a little something to start out the week with a smile on your face. Soapbox racers returned to the Goodwood Festival of Speed last year after being banned for nine years for being too dangerous to the competitors. Tim Gunn, a vintage cycle car and bicycle enthusiast from the UK is seen above in his creation heading down the hill during the run. See Tim in his 1923 Grafton cycle car on our earlier coverage of The Festival of the Slowth. Check out the entertaining video below in which one of the vehicles loses control and crashes courtesy of The Goodwood Festival of Speed.
