To get into the Christmas spirit, we are going to post a series of photos over the next three days that were taken in Southern California between the years of 1925 and 1932. The lead photo above shows the opening celebration of the incredibly ornate and detailed Santa Claus display at a Van Fleet & Durkee Shell Station somewhere in the Los Angeles area in 1930.
