This past November as the snowy onslaught of the winter of 2014-2015 began we posted a photo of a very similar bus stuck in the snow in upstate New York. This photo was taken in Washington State of another snow-bound bus on its way to Spokane in 1929. In the last post, Gene Herman identified that bus as a Y Model Yellow Coach. The bus company was an expansion of the Yellow Cab Mfg. Co.
Digging into it a little deeper it was found that this particular model was built between 1924 and 1932 in five different versions. You can view an amazing photo archive of over fifty Yellow Coach Buses here and learn all about Yellow Truck & Coach here. The photo is courtesy of pauldorpat.
