Body by Fleetwood

This is a Fleetwood bodied Packard, a 3rd series twin six model 3-35 touring, that belonged to Branton Henderson of New Castle, PA whose earlier twin six was the subject of a prior post.  Signature features of Fleetwood include the smooth fenders, straight edge molding from the radiator shell back through the body, and distinctive “clamshell” cowl lights.   Very few Packards like this were made (probably under 20), and only one is known to survive, in the collection at the Boyertown Museum.  Photo courtesy of Bud Brooks.
