Last weekend at the Louisville Concours d’ Elegance, this beautiful 1929 Duesenberg Model J (one of three) Murphy bodied dual cowl phaeton, took Best of Show honors. The car is owned by Charles Letts, Jr. who has had it freshly restored after having owned it since the mid-1950s. It was a very detailed restoration and looked stunning with its flawless black paint and black wall tires. The Old Motor photos.

Sure does, David. I especially like the blackwalls. With so many collector cars running on wide whites these days, the uninitiated might think that EVERYONE installed them in the old days!
