OK – ’39 Buick, ’40 Ford Deluxe, ’39 Chevrolet. Anyone agree?
I agree ’39 Buick, but I’d say Ford is 1939 Deluxe, seems to have teardrop headlamps not sealed beams and Chevrolet definitely 1941.
This company sign (if the horn blows) is very much in the same idiom as a business that now advertises on British TV, this being: ‘We Buy Any Car.com’. Different age but same ideals. Is anything really new?
We agree with the Buick and Chevy (39-41) However if you look just above the F in the sign there appears to be a bar for a wing window. 1940 was the first year for wing windows on this style ford. With the shape of the hood nose it appears this just might be a 40 Standard.
