A Duesenberg Model J Club Sedan, “The Arlington”

It has been a while since he have featured any Duesenberg photos from the Fred Roe Collection, but we have many more to share with you now. We were in Boston over the weekend and came back with ten or more of Roe’s albums courtesy of Racemaker Press, so the presention will continue on with this great photo collection.

The Holbrook-bodied Club sedan pictured was originally called only The Arlington, by Duesenberg and not identified as a Holbrook creation. It is chassis number 2261, which Roe has listed in his book as originally carrying engine J-138. With its padded top and a trunk behind the short club sedan coach work, it is a very pleasing design which has survived.
