Stefan Marjoram, one of our friends in England recently attended the last track event of the year at the Historic Prescott Hill. He likes this time of year there because as he tells it – “It always seems to be blessed with nice weather – and a lovely Autumn light and a great mix of racing cars, steamers and other interesting machinery always attends”.
This selection of his work shows a very photogenic Stanley Steam Car, with one of the rear wheels jacked up to allow the engine to pump water. Below that is shown the radiator ornament on a condensing Stanley, three very pretty show girls and an early motorized bicycle. Visit with Stefan Marjoram, where you will see much more of his fine work on his site and also much more of it posted here on The Old Motor.
