1922-A Fork In The Road

This photo shows the Trans-Continental Lincoln Highway in eastern Pennsylvania in 1922. Many roads in the 1920s were still unpaved, as the road to the right shows. Even though it is a dirt road, it still merits a billboard advertising the thoroughbred Mercer Automobile.
