“Aircooled” – A Franklin and an Airplane

Near as we can tell, what we have here is a 1930 or 1931 Franklin and a contemporary Boeing F3B. We suspect that this is a Franklin factory publicity photo intended to promote the connection between the speed and power of the aircraft and their car by pointing out the common type of cooling system.
